A portion of Court Street in Utica is now closed as work on the North-South Arterial project continues.

Vehicles will no longer be able to turn right onto Court Street from the Arterial.

Jim Piccola of the State Department of Transportation says Court Street will remain closed for about a year, but will be open from July 2nd through the 12th for the Fourth of July holiday and the Boilermaker.

Piccola says the road is being closed so crews can work on the Court Street bridge

He says the pedestrian bridge could be open by the end of October.
