
Driver Charged With DWI After Leaving Scene Of Accident
A West Winfield man has been charged with DWI after allegedly leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
State Police say 26-year old Kasey Brunette side-swiped a vehicle on Route 8 in the Town of Paris.
Troopers say after colliding with that vehicle, Brunette rear-ended a second vehicle and fled the scene.
Police were able to get a description of Brunette's vehicle and located him on Route 20 in the Town of Winfield.
Police say Brunette had a BAC of .18%.
He was arraigned in the Town of Paris Court for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving on a Suspended License, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, and multiple other traffic infractions.
No was injured as a result of the collisions.
