Few Details Being Released on Home Invasion in Utica
The Utica Police Department is investigating a home invasion that occurred just before 5 a.m. on Friday morning. The incident took place at 501 Niagara Street.
According to Lt. Bryan Coromato from the UPD, the suspects approached the front door of the residence and told the occupants a car needed to be moved. Upon opening the door, 3-5 black male suspects entered the home and stuck the male occupant with a gun. A female victim was also struck.
During the course of the invasion some jewelry, phones, and other items were taken. Both victims were treated at local hospitals and will soon be released. The victims are not cooperating with police. If the public has any information they are encouraged to call Utica Police.
