Floyd Man Found Guilty Of 2016 Rape

A Herkimer County jury has found 46-year old Erik Kenney of Floyd guilty of rape.

The jury deliberated for about two and a half hours before returning the guilty verdict.

Herkimer County District Attorney Jeffery Carpenter says Kenney had forcible sex with a woman in the Town of Webb in August of 2016.

Kenney is being held in the Herkimer County Jail without bail to await sentencing on March 28th.
