Former South African President Nelson Mandela Hospitalized In Serious But Stable Condition [PHOTOS]

South African President Nelson Mandela is hospitalized in serious but stable condition at a hospital in Pretoria.

The 94-year old leader, loved through much of the world, has a lung infection.  It was reported that Mandela had not been feeling well for several days before he was brought to the hospital on Saturday, June 8, 2013.

Citizens throughout the country, and Mandela's admirers around the world are engaging in prayer during Sunday services.

The BBC is reporting that Graca Machel, Mandela's wife, has cancelled an appearance in London to be with her husband.

This is the third time this year he has been hospitalized.
