A woman who has been a court clerk in the Town of Vestal has been indicted by a Broome County grand jury.

54-year-old Linda Vail was named in the 11-count indictment. She had been arrested in January by the criminal investigations unit of the district attorney's office.

Vail was indicted on one felony count of third-degree grand larceny. She also was indicted on 10 felony counts of first-degree falsifying business records.

When Vail was initially charged, officials said she was accused of stealing $12,300 in court funds.
