Four Year Old Dies In House Fire In Oswego County

A 4-year old boy was killed in a Sunday night house fire on Bull Road in the Town of Hastings in Oswego County.

State Police say Randy Halsdorf was unable to escape from the burning home and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ten other people who were inside the home -- including six children ranging in age from 2 to 14 -- got out safely.

Four were treated for smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The American Red Cross is assisting the fire victims with food and clothing.
