Four Year Old Hit By Car In Utica Dies

A 4-year old boy who was hit by a car on the 1500 block of Brinckerhoff Avenue in Utica has died.

Utica Police say Zachary Htoo apparently ran into the street to retrieve a ball and was struck by a car at about 5:00 yesterday afternoon.

He died this morning at a Syracuse hospital.

Police say it does not appear that the driver was at fault and speed does not appear to have been a factor.

The investigation into the accident is continuing.
