Frankfort Man Arrested For Menacing On I-88

A Frankfort man has been arrested for allegedly menacing with a gun on I-88 in Bainbridge.

State Police have charged 35-year old Richard Viti, Jr. with menacing and endangering the welfare of a child.

Troopers say Viti displayed a handgun at a vehicle as he passed it and then drove away.

They say the incident caused the driver who reported it to fear for his life.

An investigation determined that Viti had a realistic looking airsoft-type handgun in his vehicle, and was driving with his young child as a passenger.
