A Frankfort man is facing charges after allegedly exposing himself to a child last week who was waiting for a school bus near Bleecker Street and Tilden Avenue in Utica.

Utica Police say the child ran home and told her mother and both came to the police station.

They say the child was able to give a specific description of the man and the vehicle he was driving.

On Wednesday, a vehicle matching the description was stopped on Bleecker Street near Niagara Street.

Police arrested 28-year old Nathaniel Smaldone and charged him with exposure, public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child.

Any other victims of this type of behavior, by an individual matching this description, or anyone else, is asked to immediately contact the Utica Police Department at (315) 735-3301.
