Holland Patent Man Seriously Injured In Crash In Trenton

A Holland Patent man was seriously injured last night in a one-car crash on Powell Road near Glass Factory Road in Trenton.

State Police say 22-year old Erick Ward lost control of his vehicle, which left Powell Road, re-entered the road and then exited the road again before hitting a tree.

Ward was airlifted to University Hospital in Syracuse and is in serious condition.

Troopers say it appears speed was a factor in the crash.

The investigation is continuing.
