How Much Money Do You Spend Each Day? [POLL]
Saving money is easier for some people than others.
A new study has shed some light on who is dropping the most benjamins on a given day (not taking into account traditional bills, such as car payments or housing costs).
A married person between the ages of 40 and 44 spends the most, at $123 a day, while someone who’s divorced aged 70 and older spends the least, at $51 a day. Of course, we don't think this study takes into account that tightwad affectionately known as the 'cheapskate,' whose ability to squeeze out a five-course meal with pocket change skews the curve.
What Americans Spend Each Day on Average:
- Married - $102
- Couples who live together - $98
- Divorced - $74
- Single and never married - $67
- Widowed - $62
