10 Intense Kid Faces from the Scribbs National Spelling Bee
Yesterday was the culmination of hours of hard work and studying at the Scribbs National Spelling Bee. Before Arvind Mahankali won the title of champion (like a bawse, it's worth noting), kids from across the country came together to experience some extreme competition.
Since they haven't yet programmed themselves to bury all their emotions inside like a healthy adult, there are lots of amazing photos of these kids showing what they feel. Excitement, anxiety, possibly boredom -- it's all there. Here are some of the more intense photos from yesterday's competition.
