Broome County officials are announcing some restrictions for people planning to go to the sold out James Taylor concert on July 29 at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton.

Arena director Anthony Capozzi and County Director of Security, James Dadamio say all backpacks and bags larger than 14 inches by 14 inches by six inches are banned inside the Arena.

Everyone will be subject to security screening and inspection of approved bags or other items.

Dadamio says due to the large number of people who bought tickets, concert-goers are being asked to arrive early so they can quickly get through security and not miss any of the show.

Parking is going to be available for the event under Governmental Plaza with the entrance on Isabell Street.  Parking will be $4 per car.
