The Executive Director of the Kelberman Center met with the media on Thursday to address the Sunset Avenue housing project.

Robert Myers says they plan on moving forward with the Link at Sunset despite opposition to the project.

Myers says the Kelberman Center crossed its "T's" and dotted its "I's" and they went above and beyond every possible requirement.

Myers says the Kelberman Center understands community members' concerns and they will continue to move forward with transparency.

He also says going forward, they'll work with all parties involved to keep them updated and will look to engage community members.

Myers says the Link at Sunset will transform the lives of adults with developmental disabilities and their families.

He says the model of inclusion is the first of it kind in New York state and will serve as a model for inclusion nationwide.
