A group of state lawmakers from the Mohawk Valley are pledging their continued support for Remington Arms in Ilion.

Senators James Seward, Joseph Griffo and Hugh Farley and Assembly members Marc Butler, Anthony Brindisi and Claudia Tenney, have written a letter to Remington Chairman and CEO George Kollitides.

In the letter, they reaffirm their interest in working with Remington to ensure the gun manufacturer's continued viability and its enduring presence in Herkimer County.

All six legislators voted against the New York Safe Act.
