Local Doctor Facing Sex Abuse Charge

A doctor from New Hartford is facing charges related to alleged misconduct while working as a psychiatrist in the City of Utica.

Utica Police say 61-year old Dr. Surendra Johri is charged with sex abuse and forcible touching.

Police worked with the New York State Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs in their investigation.
