Mahan, Kerr Birdie 18 To Win Notah Begay Foundation Challenge

Verona, NY (WIBX) - Hunter Mahan and Cristie Kerr birdied the 18th hole at Atunyote to win the Notah Begay III Foundation Challenge on Wednesday. The pair finished -11 under par, finishing one stroke ahead of the team of Ricky Fowler and Annika Sorenstam.

The fundraising tournament raises money and awareness for Begay's foundation, with a mission of reducing incidents of obesity amoung Native American youth, and empowering the youngsters to lead society.

The team of Tiger Woods and Suzanne Petterson finished third. Begay and teammate Natalie Gulbis finished fourth.
