BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — A former administrator admits he stole nearly $50,000 from the private Buffalo school where he worked.

Erie County prosecutors say 57-year-old Dennis Potozniak of Cheektowaga pleaded guilty to grand larceny on Tuesday.

Prosecutors say that Potozniak was the business administrator at South Buffalo Catholic Schools when he deposited false checks for tuition reimbursement and raffle winnings into his own account between 2014 and 2017.

He faces up to seven years in prison when he's sentenced in February.
