
Man Charged With Threatening Utica Police Officers
A man had to be tasered after allegedly threatening Utica Police officers with a knife.
Police were called to Scott Street for a report of a man with a knife.
Authorities say 24-year old Malcom Thomas refused to drop the knife and threatened officers when they got near him.
They were able to deploy a taser and take Thomas into custody without injury
He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing a police officer.
