A Bronx man is facing numerous charges after allegedly threatening three people inside an apartment on Clinton Place.with a shotgun.

Utica Police say 47-year old Frank Ellis pointed the shotgun at one of the victims and fired a shot which struck a wall. They say Ellis then fled the scene but continued to threaten to kill the residents.

Ellis was taken into custody without incident the next day on Francis Street.

Police say they found a duffle bag inside a home on Francis Street where Ellis had spent the night that contained a loaded shotgun.

Authorities say Ellis was also in possession of cocaine and heroin.

He's facing charges including menacing. reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon.

Ellis is wanted by the NYPD for a homicide in the Bronx.
