A Connecticut man wanted in that state on a parole warrant has been arrested in Utica.

State Police say 26-year old Jonathan Ayala -- originally from Hartford, Connecticut -- was charged with drug related felonies following the execution of a search warrant at a home on Miller Street.

Investigators say they seized about 90 envelopes containing heroin, crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia, along with $2,000 in cash.

Ayala is charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Members from the State Police's Special Operations Response Team, Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, K9 unit and Troop D Uniform Troopers took part in the operation.
