Utica, NY (WIBX) - The Masonic Care Community in Utica wants to assist health care professionals in their efforts to care for older patients in the area.

Starting this Thursday, the group will host its annual five-week Geriatric Scholar Program at its Bleecker Street facility.

Each Thursday through October 11th, those attending will learn about different aspects of geriatric care, including treatment and quality-of-life improvements.

The program is open to any health care professional, but social workers, clergy, consumers and other professionals may attend.
