Missing Nichols Man Found

New York State Police say a missing Tioga County man has been found in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

78 year old William Caloroso of Nichols, who suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease, was believed headed to the Lounsberry Truck Stop July 10 but didn’t return home.

No other details about how the man was found or his physical condition are available.

July 12, the illuminated highway signs on Route 17 alerted the public to be on the lookout for Caloroso and his car.

Officials say there was concern the 78 year old may be in need of medical attention.
