Mother, Son Plead Guilty In Shotgun Death Of Man

CLARKSVILLE, N.Y. (AP) — A mother and son have pleaded guilty in the shotgun death of the woman's boyfriend in western New York.

WIVB-TV in Buffalo reports that Richard Mosher III pleaded guilty Monday to manslaughter and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. His mother, Lana Joseph, pleaded guilty to evidence tampering and was sentenced to time served.

Authorities say 57-year-old Royce Chapman was fatally shot inside his Clarksville home in Allegany County in February 2017.
