New Hartford Man Arrested For Brandishing Handgun In A Crowd
A New Hartford man was arrested over the weekend for allegedly brandishing a loaded handgun in a large crowd.
According to Utica Police, units were dispatched to Bank Place regarding a disturbance.
While attempting to disperse the crowd, an officer witnessed 26-year-old Joshua Gary of New Hartford allegedly displaying the handgun at the crowd.
During his attempted escape, Gary tried to place the gun in his waistband, but at one point he tripped and fell. He then lost control of the weapon and officers were able to quickly arrest him and secure the weapon.
Gary is facing several weapon charges.
