While the federal website created to provide healthcare coverage to millions of Americans has been plagued with problems since its launch, that's not the case here in New York.

Steve Wood, Community Health Coordinator with ACR Health, says their Health Patient Navigators have enrolled over 100 individuals since October 1st.

Wood says about 75% are working people who do not have insurance through their employer or who have unaffordable insurance through their employer.

ACR Health Navigators are available in Oneida, Herkimer and Madison  Counties through March 31st by calling 1-800-475-2430.

New York is one of 17 states that created their own  insurance exchanges under the Affordable Care Act.
