New York State Police issued 22,176 tickets during "Speed Week."

The enforcement initiative took place August 6th through the 13th.

During the campaign, troopers targeted speeding and aggressive drivers across the state.

More than 10,000 of the tickets issued were for speeding and over 850 were for texting or talking on a cellphone while driving.

238 drivers were arrested for DWI.

Police say a Liverpool man was ticketed for driving his motorcycle on I-87 129 miles an hour in a 65 mile an hour zone.
