NYPD Names Suspect In Weekend Manhattan Bombing
The New York City Police Department has identified a suspect in connection with Saturday's bombing in Manhattan.
Ahmad Khan Rahami is a 28-year-old US citizen who was born in Afghanistan, authorities say. He's wanted for questioning in Saturday's bombing incident in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. More than two dozen were injured and fortunately none were fatally wounded.
While Rahami is sought in connection with Saturday's incident, police say his last known address is in Elizabeth, New Jersey - which is also where an explosive device was found in a trash can outside of a train station overnight. At this time, authorities are investigating whether the two incidents are connected.
Rahami is about 5’ 6” tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes, and brown facial hair.
