The Herkimer-Oneida Counties Comprehensive Planning Program has released the results of the 2015 Oneida County TAP survey.

In March, 5,700 seventh, ninth and eleventh grade students from 12 local school districts, plus Notre Dame High School, answered over 100 questions regarding their concerns, perceptions and behaviors.

Some of the key findings of the survey -- smoking continues to decline dramatically, alcohol use continues to decline and marijuana use has fluctuated over the last dozen years.

The TAP Survey and Report were made possible through the support of the Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES, Oneida County Department of Social Services, Department of Mental Health, Health Department and Traffic Safety/Stop DWI Program as well as Cooperative Extension of Oneida County.
