Part of Milton Avenue in Syracuse Closed After Sinkhole Opens
Workers are repairing a portion of a street in Syracuse that was swallowed by a sinkhole yesterday.
Part of Milton Avenue is closed after the sinkhole opened near the intersection of Milton Avenue and Chemung Street.
Brad Vivacqua, in a post for Time Warner Cable News in Syracuse, quotes Department of Public Works Commissioner Pete O'Connor as saying that the hole is about twenty feet deep.
