A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Wednesday at the renovated Delta by Marriot, the former Radisson Hotel in downtown Utica.

Owner Attilio Petrocelli says the hotel was worn down, tired and old and they gave it a beautiful refreshment.  He says Marriot is a great name and they're honored to be affiliated with them.

The $8 million project included renovations to the lobby, the ballroom and all 162 rooms.

An open house for the public will be held at the hotel on June 20th.
