Rome Bicyclist Hit By Car Dies

A Rome man who was hit by a car while riding his bicycle last week has died.

Rome Police say 47-year old James Parisi, Jr died yesterday at a Utica hospital.

Parisi was riding his bike on Mill Street when he was allegedly hit by a car.

The driver of the vehicle that hit Parisi was issued traffic tickets for failure to use due care and failing to safely pass a bicycle.
