Rome Man Arrested in Child Assault Case

A Rome man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a six-week old child.

Rome Police have charged 30-year old Stephen Lacey, who is the child's father, with felony assault.

The injured child was taken to a Syracuse hospital.

Oneida County Child Protective Services assisted in the investigation.
