
Rome Police Investigating Fatal Car-Pedestrian Accident
A Rome woman was killed and Rome man was inured after they were hit by a car while tiding their bicycles on Black River Boulevard and East Dominick Street in Rome on Thursday night.
Rome Police say 20-year old Jasmine Finch was pronounce dead at the scene.
33-year old Travis Carpenter is in stable condition at a Syracuse hospital.
Police have charged the driver of the car, 21-year old Greish Ortega-Lebron, with aggravated vehicular homicide, DWI and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level of greater than .08%.
Anyone was may have information regarding the accident is asked to call the Rome PD.
