Salvation Army Looking To Make Up Shortfall
The Utica Salvation Army is hoping to make up a shortfall in its Red Kettle Campaign this week.
Lt. Michael Harrington says the campaign has been stymied by snow and fewer bellringers.
Harrington says they're about 20-thousand dollars behind where they were last year at this time. This year's Red Kettle Campaign goal is 120-thousand dollars.
Anyone interested in making a donation or volunteering as a bell ringer is asked to call the Salvation Army at 724-8736.
