Search Warrant Turns Up Assault Rifle, Marijuana In Utica Home

A search warrant executed by Utica Police into the sale of marijuana ended with one suspect being charged for allegedly possessing an assault rifle.

Police say they found more than 30 grams of marijuana and a 7.62 caliber assault rifle at the Springate Street home of 23 year old Christopher Hulihan.

Hulihan is facing three counts of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of criminal possession of marijuana.

Also arrested was 23 year old Cory Lacasse, also of Springate Street, who was charged with marijuana possession.
