Significant Work To Begin On North South Arterial Project

Starting on Monday, motorists traveling on Burrstone Road between York Street and Sunset Avenue can expect to see a substantial increase in construction activity.

The New York State Department of Transportation says significant work is set to begin on the first contract in the North South Arterial Project.

The DOT say drivers may experience delays during peak driving hours.

They're encouraged to use alternate routes during their morning and evening commutes.

The DOT is also reminding motorists that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
