Singer Natalie Cole Dead at 65
The daughter of a legendary singer, and accomplished entertainer in her own right, has died.
Natalie Cole, best known for hits like "Our Love," has passed away at the age of 65.
She died Thursday, New Year's Eve, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles from congestive heart failure brought on by complications from a kidney transplant and Hepatitis C.
The daughter of Maria Hawkins Cole and Nat "King" Cole continued to create award-winning music throughout her lifetime, garnering three Latin Grammy award nominations in 2013, including Album of the Year, for "Natalie Cole en Espanol."
In 1991 her album "Unforgettable...with Love," won six Grammy awards and sold 14 million copies.
