Sitrin Hosting Fifth Annual Blood Drive

New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - Sitrin is offering an opportunity to donate blood this week by hosting its fifth annual Anne Faulkner Blood Drive.

This Wednesday, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., at the Sitrin Community Center in New Hartford, people can stop by to donate.

Donation appointments may be scheduled in advance, but walk-ins are also welcome. To schedule, call Alison Jones at (315) 737-2406.

According to the Red Cross, every two seconds someone is in need of blood, and more than 38,000 blood donations are needed each day.
