Thousands of Flying Insects Hatching. What are they? [VIDEO]

This past week, while sitting on the patio in my backyard, I saw swarms of flying insects taking off like you would see planes flying off a WWII aircraft carrier.  When I investigated further, there were thousands hatching and flying off.
