Three Caught Stealing Metal From Machinery In Trailer

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Three people--two of them teenagers--were arrested last night after attempting to steal metal by dismantling machinery stored in tractor trailers. It happened on the 800 block of Catherine Street around 6:30 p.m.

Utica police say they responded to the area to investigate a report of a possible break in, and spotted the suspects red handed. Two of them attempted to flee but were quickly apprehended. The third man was found hiding in one of the trailers.

The suspects are 21-year-old Nevres Pajazetovic, 18-year-old Mirsad Kudic and 18-year-old Mehmed Ahmetovic, all of Utica. They're each charged with 3rd Degree Burglary, a Felony, and Petit Larceny, a Misdemeanor.
