Three Facing Charges In Two Separate Drug Investigations

Three people are facing charges after Utica Police executed search warrants in two separate drug investigations.

45-year old Nozaida Lacourt-Hernandez was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance after police say they seized heroin and cocaine during a search of an apartment on Lansing Street.

Meanwhile, 42-year old Geraldo Lacourt and 34-year old Carmen Heredia were arrested after police searched an apartment on Mohawk Street.

During the search, police say heroin and an illegally possessed.handgun were seized.

Lacourt, who is a current New York State Parolee, is facing a number of charges, including criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon.

Heredia is charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm.
