Thruway Crash Closes Lanes Near Albany During Morning Rush
ROTTERDAM, N.Y. (AP) — A crash involving a tractor-trailer forced police to block off lanes of the Thruway west of Albany during the morning rush hour.
State troopers say the accident occurred Tuesday at about 6 a.m. on the eastbound lanes between Exit 26 in Rotterdam and Exit 25A in Duanesburg.
Troopers briefly closed all lanes while a medical helicopter landed at the scene, blocking traffic in each direction. Lanes were opened by 8 a.m.
