Santa Claus is coming to town. And your kids can track him.
New York Air National Guardsmen from the Eastern Air Defense sector in Rome are preparing to assist Santa as he travels across the Eastern United States on Christmas Eve.

Tim Jones of the Eastern air Defense sector says every year since 1955, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has been tracking Santa Claus and his reindeer as they make their way south from the North Pole into Canada and the United States.

Jones says the EADS supports the NORAD Operations center who leads the nationwide Santa Tracking operation.

Beginning at 7 a.m. tomorrow, children can call into NORAD to check on Old Saint Nick's progress as he travels the world delivering toys and gifts.
