Two men have been arrested on drug charges following an investigation by Utica Police into the sale and use of drugs in the South Utica Plaza parking lot on Genesee Street.

Officers stopped a vehicle that left the parking lot.

The officers immediately smelled a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and searched the car.

Police say they allegedly found drug paraphernalia in the vehicle that tested positive for residue of heroin.

26-year old Jared Burdick of Utica and 22-year old Michael LoGalbo of Whitesboro are facing charges including criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a hypodermic instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana.
