UPD Investigating Armed Robbery On John St.

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police are looking for a suspect they say allegedly robbed the Superplus Market on John Street.

Last night at about 8, officers responded to the store for an armed robbery. Police say a man walked into the store, showed a handgun, then stole money from the clerk. He left the store on foot.

The suspect is a tall black man with a brown leather jacket and brown/black leather hat.

Anyone with information or who was in the area at the time of the robbery is encouraged to call the UPD's Criminal Investigation Division at 223-3510. Calls will be kept confidential.
