The Utica Curling Club On Clark Mills road is busy today.
The club is hosting the 8th annual U-S Open Wheelchair Curling Event where teams from around the world are getting their last chance to compete before the Sochi Winter Paralympic Games.

Aside from American teams the event featured teams from Russia, Scotland and Korea.

The Korean team in fact has been living in Utica for over a month now in order to take advantage of the Curling Club's state of the art facility. Mark DePerno from Sitrin says the Korean team also had a hard time finding ice time in their home country.

Below you can watch a portion of New Hartford's Jim Joseph and Team USA as they took on Scotland earlier today.
