Utica Man Convicted Of Killing His Grandmother Sentenced
A Utica man convicted of murdering his grandmother and then setting her house on fire was sentenced on Monday in Oneida County Court.
24-year old Andre Anderson was sentenced to life without parole on two counts of first-degree murder and 25 years to life on two counts of arson.
The sentences will be served concurrently.
Police say Anderson stabbed 68-year old Freddie McKinney and set her West Street apartment on fire in January.
She died several days later.
