A Utica man on parole is facing numerous charges after Utica Police conducted a visit of his home.

Authorities say 34-year old Lonnie Brown was allegedly found to be in possession of a loaded handgun, ammunition, a large quantity of marijuana and cocaine.

Brown is facing charges including criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The UPD worked with New York State Parole under the Gun Involved Elimination or GIVE initiative.
